Counseling Philosophy

I believe we all want to feel a greater sense of peace, connection, and fulfillment in our lives. When we don’t feel this way and don’t understand why, we feel frustrated and stuck.

For many (if not all) of us, life has presented experiences that leave us feeling overwhelmed, alone, and helpless. We evolve ways of coping with such things. But, over time, these ways of coping become less effective, and we struggle. We need a new approach and a new perspective. We need a fresh way to relate to ourselves, our loved ones, and our world.

My personal and professional experience have taught me that we can all learn to do this. With the right guidance, all of us have the ability to access an inner state of curiosity, and from this place, begin to understand what gets in the way of living the life we want to life.
